Government Cooperation

The federal government plays an active role in supporting Canada's tourism sector. It collaborates with its provincial and territorial counterparts on tourism policies and programs. In addition, more than 15 federal departments and agencies are responsible for their own policies and programs that touch on tourists' experiences coming to and entering Canada, and while they are here.
